Why Water Filtration
Water quality plays a crucial role in the performance, efficiency, and longevity of SteamChef and SteamCraft steamers. Poor water conditions can cause issues such as scale buildup and reduced steam generation efficiency. To ensure consistent performance and protect your equipment investment, proper water treatment and filtration are strongly recommended.
Scale Buildup: Dissolved minerals and impurities in untreated water can lead to scale formation inside the steamerās generator and plumbing components. This buildup restricts water and steam flow, reduces heating efficiency, and can negatively affect cooking performance.
Reduced Efficiency and Reliability: When scale accumulates, the steamer must work harder to produce and maintain proper steam levels. This increases energy consumption, reduces cooking consistency, and may lead to unnecessary service calls or early component failure.
Warranty Voiding: Proper water filtration and maintenance are essential to ensure reliable performance and protect your SteamChef and SteamCraft steamers. Failure to install and regularly maintain the appropriate water treatment system may result in scale buildup and other water-related damage. These conditions are not covered under the product warranty and may lead to the warranty being voided.
