Welbilt History
  • In 1957 - J.C. Pardo and Sons, Inc. was founded in SCHENECTADY, NY. to build high quality custom fabricated equipment, specializing in kettles and industrial equipment for food processing. Their first customer was H.J Heinz Co. producing a 250 Gallon Nickle and Stainless steel mixing kettle.
  • In 1960 - J.C. Pardo moves to Baltimore starts fabrication out of back of General Motors plant. Campbell Soup grows to be one of their largest customers.
  • 1968 - J.C. Pardo Breaks ground on new facility 1250 Reames road plant is built.
  • 1968-1983 - J.C. Pardo continues to build a reputation of proving they can fabricate various pieces of equipment and build a reputation as one of the best quality fabricators in the area.
  • In 1983 - J.C. Pardo sells their 1st complete 50 gallon Cook Chill System
  • In 1991 - JC Pardo signs contract with Cleveland Range and the original WELBILT company to fabricate the Cook Chill Product line in their Baltimore, Maryland Plant.
  • In 2007 -  After 50 years of being in the business JC Pardo decides to retire and Cleveland Range vertically integrates their supplier of 15 years 2007

  • Kettles from 50 to 850 gallons holding capacity; Holding Tanks; Conical Hoppers; Flat Sheets to Hemispherical Heads; Conveyors; Bowls; Agitators; Baskets; Dollies; and various other weldments.

The particular software update for Convotherm 4 gas units has to be done by an authorised service partner (there are adjustment steps necessary).

Please ensure that only software which is suitable for the unit series is installed on your Convotherm unit. This software cannot be used for other unit types from the range. If this is disregarded, no liability will be assumed for malfunctions.
