Cleveland Range Introduces Short Series Kettles Featuring Reduced Height For Increased Worker Safety
September 15th, 2005
Cleveland, OH—Cleveland Range, Inc. introduces the Short Series line of kettles, an addition to their full line of steam jacketed kettles. The innovative Short Series reduces total kettle height yet maintains standard capacities. With a lower rim height than other stationary kettles, the Short Series allows shorter workers to cook as well as clean the kettles without the risk of burns and other injuries caused by having to stand on crates, reach over or lean on the kettles.
The stainless steel kettles are available in 40, 60 and 80-gallon capacities; electric, gas or direct steam-powered. Kettle rim height range from approximately 32” to 35”, only waist-high on a 5-foot-tall worker. Other features include spring-assisted, hinged, rotatable domed covers, 2” tangent draw-off valves and level-adjustable flanged feet that can be bolted to the floor.
All Cleveland Short Series kettles have splash-proof solid state control panels and solid state temperature controls that are precise with less than a 5F temperature variance.
Cleveland Range, Inc., founded in 1922, is the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial steam cooking equipment and offers complete lines of convection and pressure steamers, steam jacketed kettles, tilting skillets/braising pans, combination steam and convection (“combi”) ovens, rotisseries and cook/chill systems.
