Chefs Joseph A. Cash and David Ash Join Cleveland Range

September 8th, 2005

Cleveland Range is pleased to announce the addition of Executive Chef Joe Cash to the Cleveland family. An expert in combi oven and convection steam cooking, Joe attended the Cincinnati State Culinary Program and spent more than 11 years with Winegardner & Hammons in hotel settings doing menu development and design. Joe has experience opening and designing multiple concepts, franchises and restaurant chains. Prior to joining Cleveland Range, Joe worked in outside sales and design for Trendco Supply in Cincinnati, where he was born and raised. In addition, he was Regional Sales Manager for Rational Cooking Systems and a manufacturer's rep for E-Source Equipment in Dallas, Texas. Joe is the proud father of a teenage daughter, Amanda, and enjoys sports in his spare time.

David Ash joined the Cleveland staff last April. David was born and raised in northeast Ohio and was a rising young star on the restaurant scene prior to joining Cleveland. David has trained under some of the area's top chef's and worked his way up to Executive Chef at the prestigious and award winning Jacob Goode Restaurant in Akron, Ohio. David also made the cover of the Cleveland Magazine, and was named one of five "All Star Chefs".

The addition of Joe and his extensive background with combi oven steamers gives us a running start in our quest to become market share leaders for the Convotherm by Cleveland product line. Both Joe and David will report to Roland Gehring, Product Manager for the Convotherm by Cleveland product line to be introduced at NAFEM. An announcement is being prepared and will be released to the trade.
