Cleveland Breaks Ground for Combi Expansion

July 13th, 2007

CLEVELAND, Ohio. Cleveland Range LLC begins expansion plans for Convotherm Combi-Oven/Steamers. To keep pace with the explosive growth of combination-oven/steamers within the foodservice industry, Cleveland Range, already the world's largest provider of steam cooking equipment, today detailed plans to expand its production capacity and Culinary Demonstration/Test Center in it’s headquarters and main production facility in Cleveland, Ohio.

The projects will add more than 40,000 square feet of factory space by November 2007. The expansion announcement comes as Cleveland Range completes its second full year of Convotherm by Cleveland Combi-Oven/Steamer production in Ohio.

Cleveland President Rick Cutler said, “We are expanding our facilities to handle increasing customer demand for Convotherm combi-ovens and to accommodate the dramatic forecasted growth in the north American combi-oven/steamer market in the years ahead. This expansion, along with the investments we are making in the upgrade of our customer culinary support center, puts us in a strong position to meet and exceed these demands,'' he said.

Cleveland Range, LLC, an Enodis company, was founded in 1922 and is a leading manufacturer of commercial steam-cooking equipment.  It offers complete lines of convection and pressure steamers, steam-jacketed kettles, tilting skillets/braising pans, combination steam and convection (“combi”) ovens, rotisseries and cook-chill systems.   For more information, visit www.clevelandrange.com or email steam@clevelandrange.com
