Buying Cleveland Products Online Is Easy with New Dealer Program
September 1st, 2005
With increasing numbers of foodservice operators turning to the internet to find, evaluate and buy food equipment, Cleveland Range makes purchasing food equipment on the internet easy and convenient through experienced foodservice dealers.
A recent study by the University of Nevada Las Vegas and Fryett Consulting showed that 85 percent of foodservice operators have internet access, and more than 90% of those operators use the internet to get product information electronically and research foodservice purchasing options. And 90% of those with internet access said they are using the internet today or will use the internet within the next two years to order online through foodservice dealers.
Through the Preferred Online Dealer program, Cleveland and Enodis supports their dealers in establishing and maintaining user-friendly internet sites, and routes internet buyers from its company web sites to established, reliable, expert dealers.
“Many internet users visit manufacturer web sites to access the wealth of product, application and technical information available there,” says Dean Landeche, vice president of marketing for Enodis USA. “When internet users visit Cleveland or any of the Enodis web sites, we offer them the opportunity to purchase online through a participating online dealer. Enodis Preferred Online Dealers meet strict criteria for convenient and reliable internet purchasing, including documented privacy policies, return policies and secure transaction standards.”
Five Enodis authorized dealers are among the founding group of Enodis preferred online dealers, including Acemart, A-City Discount, Atlanta Fixtures, CKitchen.com and Instawares. Several additional dealers have enlisted in the program, and are finalizing their Enodis sites for launch during September and October.
To further assist equipment purchasers, Enodis is creating a unified product data system for all its North American brands. With the Enodis Product Data System, internet users will be able to explore and search the entire portfolio of Enodis products and brands. Search criteria will include product categories, equipment dimensions, power sources and requirements, applications and keywords. Users will be able to search within a single Enodis product line or across the entire portfolio.
Cleveland Range is the first Enodis company to utilize the new product data system on its newly-designed web site: www.clevelandrange.com
To purchase Cleveland products from a preferred online dealer, visit www.clevelandrange.com, or visit any Enodis web site.
