Rave Reviews At Friendship Village

Dan Reese, Food Service Director at Friendship Village Retirement Community in Columbus, Ohio admits he’s a hard man to please, but he loves his Convotherm by Cleveland combi oven-steamer.

Dan states, “The residents rave about the french fries and onion rings, they’ve never been better. My associates can’t believe they weren’t made in a fryer!”

“The Automatic Cleaning Cycle is great!  After heavy use doing three meals a day, seven days a week, the oven still looks new.”

“It’s impressive how the combi oven-steamer does Grilled Cheese and Rubin Sandwiches. They stay moist and don’t get dried out, plus the cheese is melted inside. You can do large volumes at one time and don’t need to flip the sandwiches over.”

Since it’s a tight kitchen, they love the Disappearing Door. No more blocking the aisle.

Friendship Village has a model OGB-6.20 Convotherm by Cleveland combi oven-steamer installed since April 2005. The kitchen produces three meals a day, about 800 meals, seven days a week.
